On April the 20th 2017, the St. Garabed Armenian Church welcomed 20 students, who had enrolled in the Spring Religion class at UMKC.

In their schedule, they had planned to visit four sacred houses of worship, and the Armenian Church was their first stop. Rose Hovsepian had volunteered to present a lecture about the history and the fundamental beliefs of the church.

During the presentation, questions were answered about Armenia, the culture and the Genocide. The students were enriched by the information, and they were encouraged to see the epic film "The Promise".
